My top Wedding themes…

Hey guys! 🙂

I was actually thinking of a wedding theme for sometime now since it also play some important role for wedding preparation ♥ (considering month & date of the event, bridal gown, groom’s attire, reception & the facade of venue ♥)  modern Filipino couple nowadays are very much creative in planning wedding themes that will suite their preference and a theme makes a wedding more personal, coordinated and definitely elegant 🙂

aren’t you excited bride-to-be’s / groom-to-be’s ?

Now, it’s time to decide on one of the most critical components of your special day: the theme.

1. Shabby Chic ♥

Shabby chic items are often heavily painted through the years, with many layers showing through obviously time-worn areas. It  evokes the type of decoration found in large country houses where there are worn and faded old chintz sofas and curtains, old paintwork and unassuming ‘good’ taste. The end result of shabby chic is to achieve an elegant overall effect, as opposed to the sentimentally cute Pop-Victorian. Pure whites, as well as ecrus and worn or bleached out pastel colors are favorites. The shabby chic aesthetic also expands to the garden, with the same design principles of using timeworn garden furniture and feminine accessories. Rose gardens are popular with the shabby chic style of decor.

It also emphasized the feeling of ‘distressing’ the finish of the vintage way in addition to a smaller amount of the feminine touch. It is a soft, relaxed, feminine, romantic style of decorating that looks comfortable and inviting…

So.. I’m imagining that if your venue is outdoor type or tent setup while feeling the nature breeze I can say that this setup is also ideal ♥

2. Romantic Whimsical

I also want a soft and whimsical look for our wedding, very cheesy right? lol .. romantic whimsical for a lavish afternoon to enticing dinner candlelight is not bad for this kind of theme. Imagining a fabulous florist (I’m dreaming of Vatel Manila’s creation) did a brilliant job of creating a ribbon garland which was used to decorate the center tables/backdrop. It was a mixture of pastel colours, with salmon pink accents, and each ribbon had a different texture and design. It looked beautiful swaying gently in the breeze, against the luscious royal blue foliage of the venue, and the striking wood like pergola…isn’t romantic? ♥
